  • The Zeus is the highest-quality open folding-arm awning in the Mobau range. It combines modern technology , robust construction , and flexible features in an open design – ideal for large patios, balconies, seating areas, or commercial outdoor spaces. With an optional mega version, LED light profile, and shade plus, it is the perfect choice for the highest demands on comfort, design, and durability.

    • Open folding arm awning with steel support tube (40 × 40 mm wall thickness 2 mm) –

    • Robust articulated arms with 4-fold multi-flex steel cable pull and 2-fold spring pull – tested for up to 70,000 cycles of drop-forged arm forks

    • Designed for up to 70,000 cycles – ideal for long-term use

    • Adjustable tilt : 5° to 40°

  • EFFECTIVE JOINT ARM TECHNOLOGY

    The Zeus awning from MOBAU Markisen impresses with its high-quality mechanics, which significantly contribute to its stability and longevity. Its robust articulated arms allow for a projection of up to 3500 mm and guarantee consistent fabric tension throughout its entire lifespan. Thanks to a reinforced 4-fold multi-flex power band with over 70,000 cycles and a double spring-tension system, the awning fabric remains optimally taut even with frequent use. Break-resistant arm joints are made of drop-forged aluminum.

    Due to its design, the width of the ZEUS folding-arm awning must always be greater than the projection. The corresponding limit dimensions are shown in the table below. Should it be necessary for the projection to be greater than or equal to the width, we recommend the ZEUS - Mega awning model.

    • Wall, ceiling or rafter mounting with robust brackets

    • Wind class 2 according to DIN EN 13561 – up to wind speed 5 = 38 km/h when mounted on a pressure-resistant concrete substrate.

    • Extended bracket selection for mounting surfaces that are not pressure-resistant

    • Number of consoles depends on width and projection

  • SHADOW PLUS - Vario steering wheel

    • Operation exclusively via hand crank

    • Extendable continuously up to 150 cm

    • Recommended fabrics: seamless - When using ACRYLIC fabrics with seams, increased wrinkling may occur.

    PROTECTIVE ROOF

    For wall mounting where the ZEUS is unprotected from above, it can be equipped with an additional protective roof. This protects the rolled-up awning fabric from above and from the side.

  • You have all options available for operating your awning, from a manual crank to smart home technology. We would particularly like to highlight our radio-controlled motor with emergency manual crank operation . This allows you to operate the awning even if the motor is not functioning, for example, during a power outage.
