Constructive design – support tube technology for maximum stability
The ZEUS sleeve belongs to the family of tube awnings , in which all main components – such as articulated arms, sleeve, bearings and brackets – are mounted on a continuous steel support tube (40 × 40 mm) .
This design allows:
high stability across the entire width
Flexible console positioning (e.g., in challenging building structures)
easy maintenance and disassembly of individual components
optimized load distribution in case of large failure
The compact sleeve reliably protects the fabric roller from above and in front when retracted. The articulated arms and drop profile remain visible – functional and easily accessible.
Articulated arms – proven MOBAU technology
The articulated arms are made of extruded aluminum and equipped with:
4-fold cable pull technology with double spring pull
Drop-forged arm joints for high load capacity
Tested for up to 70,000 movement cycles
Minimal maintenance required and dimensionally stable for many years
From a width of 601 cm, a third articulated arm is installed as standard to absorb torsional forces in the best possible way.

Due to its design, the width of the ZEUS cassette awning must always be greater than the projection. The corresponding limit dimensions are shown in the table below. Should it be necessary for the projection to be greater than or equal to the width, we recommend the ZEUS Cassette Mega awning type.

All options are available for operating the ZEUS cassette awning. From a manual crank to smart home integration. We would particularly like to highlight our radio-controlled motor with emergency manual crank operation . This allows you to operate the awning even if the motor is not functioning, for example, during a power outage. The drive motors used in our cassette awnings are equipped with soft-stop torque cut-off and automatic fabric length compensation. This ensures smooth and consistently even closing of the cassette.
