Athene Freeline is a unique, innovative eye-catcher designed for use as a freestanding shading system for terraces, cafes, and beer gardens. Athene Freeline not only provides sun protection and thermal comfort but also enhances any outdoor seating area with a distinctive design element.
MOBAU FREELINE – the freestanding awning with roof-mounted system
The MOBAU FREELINE is the ideal solution when independent shading is required – without a wall or facade connection. The sturdy aluminum construction supports an ATHENE-type roof-mounted awning, thus enabling flexible shading of large areas.
Design & Construction
The robust support structure made of powder-coated aluminum is freestanding with two uprights and forms the basis for the MOBAU ATHENE rooftop system. This allows the FREELINE to be individually adapted to the location and intended use.
A foundation is absolutely necessary for mounting the two uprights!
Technical features
Freestanding structure – no building attachment necessary
Combination with MOBAU ATHENE or ATHENE ZIP roof-mounted awnings
Widths up to 5 m and projections up to 5 m (depending on the fabric)
The self-supporting box protects the fabric and facilitates installation.
Standard with electric motor, optional radio or smart home control
Powder-coated aluminum profiles in standard colors white (RAL 9016), gray/silver (RAL 9006), anthracite (RAL 7016) fine structure
Comfort & Options
The FREELINE can be equipped with sensors for wind, sun, and rain to ensure maximum safety and comfort. Integrated LED lighting is also available, perfectly illuminating the outdoor area even in the evening.
