The choice of awning fabric is crucial. For use in rainy conditions, the special fabric "LUMERA ALL WEATHER" is recommended. This fabric is equipped with a waterproof IPC coating (Intelligent Protection Coating) and thus withstands almost any weather.

An important requirement for use in the rain is a sufficient incline of the awning of at least 14 degrees . This incline ensures that rainwater can reliably drain away and that no "water pockets" form which could damage the fabric and the structure.
