MOBAU vertical awnings with lateral cable guidance

MOBAU vertical awnings with cable guidance combine a delicate design with reliable sun and privacy protection. Laterally tensioned stainless steel cables guide the fabric precisely and, together with the weighted bottom rail, ensure even fabric tension. Whether on windows, balconies, or other glass surfaces – these awnings blend discreetly into any architectural style and offer convenient operation via motor, radio control, or smart home system, and, if required, manual operation via crank.

Cable guide with integrated spring technology

The heart of the MOBAU cable guide system is its innovative spring technology : stainless steel cables guide the blind laterally and keep it permanently taut thanks to integrated spring tension. The additionally weighted bottom rail ensures and supports the blind's stability.

This allows the fabric to adapt flexibly to wind loads and temperature changes, while remaining stable and evenly taut. This not only ensures a stable fabric position but also increases the awning's lifespan.

Fabrics & Functionality

Covered with high-quality screen fabrics from leading manufacturers, the SLIDELINE offers a wide selection of designs and transparency levels – from translucent to blackout. This allows it to be individually adapted to architectural and usage requirements.

Of course, the SLIDLINE awning can be used to darken rooms by equipping it with appropriate blackout fabrics .

Two designs to meet individual requirements

MOBAU SLIDELINE 150 E – for large areas
The 150 E is the robust version with a square housing (150 mm). It is ideal for wide and tall installations such as large window fronts, facades, or expansive patio roofs. The spring-loaded cable guide ensures precise fabric tension and reliable support.

MOBAU OMS rope – the elegant version with a round box
The OMS cable system with its round housing is the elegant alternative for balconies, smaller windows, or architecturally demanding environments. Here, too, the spring-loaded cable system ensures optimal fabric tension while maintaining a delicate, light appearance.

Operation & Comfort

MOBAU vertical awnings come standard with a motorized drive. Optional features include radio control, smart home integration, and sun and wind sensors. This allows for convenient and safe operation of the awning – from a classic remote control to a fully automated system.

Technical highlights at a glance:

  • Cable-guided curtain with spring technology for permanent fabric tension

  • Two designs: 150 E (square, robust) and OMS rope (round, elegant)

  • Weighted end bar for even curtain movement

  • High-quality fabric selection with varying degrees of transparency

  • Powder coating in standard and custom colors

  • Operation via motor, radio or smart home system

  • Optional: Sun and wind sensors for automatic operation

color and design

The housing, end cap, and cable fixings are powder-coated and available in the standard colors white (RAL 9016), grey/silver (RAL 9006), anthracite (RAL 7016), or DB 703. All RAL and DB colors, as well as various surface textures (smooth, matte, fine texture), are available as options.
