MOBAU HORIZON side awnings are the elegant solution for increased privacy and lateral sun protection outdoors. They reliably protect against unwanted views and low-lying sun from the side, where conventional awnings often fail to provide sufficient shade.
Thanks to their flexible designs – as a straight system or as the sloped HORIZON Slope variant – they adapt perfectly to terraces, balconies or patio roofs.

Die MOBAU HORIZON ist so ausgestattet, dass sie nicht nur zuverlässig schützt, sondern auch sicher und bequem zu bedienen ist:

Rückschlagbremse – verhindert ein unkontrolliertes Zurückschnellen des Tuches und sorgt für sanftes, sicheres Aufrollen.

Kindersicherung an der Zugleiste – schützt vor unbeabsichtigtem Lösen der Markise, mehr Sicherheit im Familienalltag.

Laufrolle am Zugprofil (optional) – erleichtert das Ausziehen, verringert den Kraftaufwand und schont den Stoff durch gleichmäßige Führung.
Two types at a glance
MOBAU HORIZON – straight system
The classic design for patios, balconies, or gardens. The fabric is pulled out of the box by hand and hooked into the holder at the front. An integrated anti-return brake ensures a smooth, controlled roll back into the box.
Maximum projection up to 400 cm
Optional GRP stiffeners for vertical assembly for more stability
Optional floor roller on the pull bar for easier handling
Removable ground mast for flexible space use
MOBAU HORIZON Slope – sloping system
This version is designed for use on patio roofs or sloped awning structures. The fabric runs diagonally, adapting perfectly to the roof pitch. The Slope version thus offers customized protection from side sun – even where conventional side awnings are insufficient.
Design & Construction
Reinforcement of the fabric with integrated GRP rods for even tension and better wind load absorption. Compact awning box – reliably protects the fabric from the weather.
