EFFECTIVE JOINT ARM TECHNOLOGY

The Zeus Hülse Mega awning from MOBAU Markisen impresses with its high-quality mechanics, which significantly contribute to its stability and longevity. Its robust articulated arms allow for a projection of up to 3500 mm and guarantee consistent fabric tension throughout its entire lifespan. Thanks to a reinforced 4-fold multi-flex power band with over 70,000 cycles and a double spring-tension system, the awning fabric remains optimally taut, even with frequent use. Break-resistant arm joints are made of drop-forged aluminum.

The ZEUS Mega sleeve is the clever special solution in the MOBAU range when a narrow wall but a high shade requirement is needed. Equipped with crossed articulated arms , it allows for a greater projection than width – while maintaining stability, high-quality sleeve technology, and a robust support tube construction. The ZEUS Mega sleeve is ideal for narrow balconies , sheltered niches , or loggias where conventional awnings are insufficient.

Support tube technology – stable construction on

Like all models in the ZEUS series, the ZEUS sleeve Mega is also based on the proven MOBAU support tube construction :

Square steel support tube (40 × 40x2 mm) , used as a support for brackets, bearings and sleeves
Flexible mounting brackets – ideal for installations with structural limitations
High static stability even under maximum failure conditions
Permanently safe, easy to assemble and low-maintenance.

The compact aluminum sleeve reliably protects the fabric from above and in front when retracted – while allowing the articulated arms to be freely arranged outside the sleeve.

Crossed articulated arms – maximum deployment in a small space

The centerpiece of the mega version is the crossed articulated arms , which move over each other when extended. This allows for greater projection depths than the wall width would permit .

The arms are made of extruded aluminum , are equipped with 4-fold cable pulls and double spring technology , and are tested to up to 70,000 cycles .

All options are available for operating the ZEUS Mega cassette awning. From manual crank to smart home integration. We would particularly like to highlight our radio-controlled motor with emergency manual crank operation . This allows you to operate the awning even if the motor is not functioning, for example, during a power outage. The drive motors used in our cassette awnings are equipped with soft-stop torque cut-off and automatic fabric length compensation. This ensures smooth and consistently even closing of the cassette.
