ATHENE XS 150 E – The versatile under-glass awning for large glass surfaces

The ATHENE XS 150 E from MOBAU is the powerful solution for large-area sun protection under glass roofs, patio covers, or conservatories. With its striking, angular housing, it combines modern design with high stability and is particularly suitable for larger glass surfaces where performance and precision are crucial.

Design & Construction

The square cassette of the ATHENE XS 150 E reliably protects the awning fabric from the elements and gives the awning a timeless, harmonious appearance. Its compact design makes it particularly suitable for small to medium-sized glass surfaces without obstructing the light.

The front drop profile moves all the way forward and is flush with the guide rails.

The self-supporting roller box does not require additional fastening – this greatly simplifies installation.

Mounting options

The ATHENE XS 150 E can be flexibly adapted to different glass roof constructions:

• On the rafters – for a stable, direct attachment

• Between the rafters – for flush integration into the roof structure

• With spacers – ideal if additional ventilation or an optical offset is desired.

Ease of use & options

The ATHENE XS 150 E comes standard with a powerful electric motor for switch operation. Optional features include a wireless remote control, smart home integration, and sensors for wind, sun, and rain. The awning can also be equipped with dimmable LED lighting – either integrated into the housing or in an optional crossbar – for atmospheric lighting well into the evening.

Color variety & customization

The housing and guide rails are powder-coated in the standard colors white (RAL 9016), silver (RAL 9006), and anthracite grey FS (RAL 7016). All RAL special colors, DB 701-704, and various surface textures (smooth, matte, or finely textured) are available upon request.
