The ATHENE XS 120 R from MOBAU is the elegant solution for reliable sun protection under glass roofs, patio covers, or conservatories. With its slim, semi-circular housing, it blends harmoniously into any architectural style and impresses with its understated appearance and high functionality.

Design & Construction

The semi-circular cassette of the ATHENE XS 120 R reliably protects the awning fabric from the elements and gives the awning a timeless, harmonious appearance. Its compact design makes it particularly suitable for small to medium-sized glass surfaces without obstructing the light. A front ventilation gap ensures continuous air exchange between the awning fabric and the glass. This effectively reduces heat build-up under the glazing, ensuring a comfortable indoor climate even on warm, sunny days.

The self-supporting roller box does not require any additional fastening – this greatly simplifies installation.

Mounting options

The ATHENE XS 120 R can be flexibly adapted to different glass roof constructions:

• On the rafters – for a stable, direct attachment

• Between the rafters – for flush integration into the roof structure

• With spacers – ideal if additional ventilation or an optical offset is desired.

Ease of use & options

Equipped as standard with a reliable electric motor for switch operation, the ATHENE XS 120 R can optionally be controlled via radio remote control or via smart home systems.

Color variety & customization

The housing and guide rails are powder-coated in the standard colors white (RAL 9016), silver (RAL 9006), and anthracite grey FS (RAL 7016). All RAL colors and DB 701-704, as well as various surface textures (smooth, matte, or finely textured), are available upon request.
